Lemme, lemme upgrade ya!

Every day you look in the mirror and complain about your huge pores or your puffy eyes or that your eczema is acting up, but you don't seem to be doing anything about it.

Is it that you don't know how? Is it because you're not sure why it's happening? Is it that you don't where to start? Well that's why I'm here.

I am a natural skin care expert that teaches young women who struggle with their skin care regimen the best ways to upgrade the quality of their skin. 

A Brief History

In January 2012, I launched a company that has since sold over $100,000 worth of products, sponsored several brands and events, and helped thousands of customers, in addition to their spouses and children, improve their skin. Ixora Botanical Beauty, a North Carolina-based small business, currently caters to customers across the globe. Though founded in my home territory, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, I has since relocated Ixora's operations to Charlotte, N.C. where I'm currently a member of a thriving small business community. Ixora is both Black and woman-owned, with me handling most of the daily operations, from manufacturing to shipping and handling.

After experiencing frustration with dry skin and pesky eczema, I set out to develop an affordable line of natural body butters, creams and scrubs that soothed skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis. Armed with two degrees, a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a M.S. in Occupational Health & Safety Concentrating in Environmental Management, experience and knowledge of natural complexion remedies passed down through generations, Ixora Botanical Beauty was born.

I've since realized that making products aren't good enough, and that I want to teach my customers why and how their skin works and what causes their skin to have issues. That is how THIS blog was born.
